August, 2015 – Volkswagen is recalling 420,000 vehicles in the U.S. because of airbag issues. The problem can prevent front air bags from deploying in a crash.

The recall includes eight VW models, including the Jetta, Passat and Tiguan, made between 2010 and 2014. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that it is possible that debris could lead to an airbag deployment failure, although no such injuries have been reported.
